Hi y'all
Been looking to get a new couch for the apartment. I asked around at work and mostly was told I should've checked Zee Gallery before it closed. Looking now, we are definitely going to check out Gallery Furniture today. Any other suggestions? Budget is 1000$ for a sectional or 2 piece combo.

I don't think you'll find a sectional at Gallery for that price.
Try the Dump, Bel, BiRite, Hilton, and Ikea.

You can look at the Hardin discount version Galaly furniture. Pretty sure they carry the Ashley items for way cheaper
Costco is another viable option if you have a membership.
Yes, gonna check it out tmrw. They usually have 1 or 2 sectionals on display. But weary about buying one online but the Apt2B brand looks decent
If you're open to used, check out NextDoor in your area. Plenty of folks selling gently used furniture for a fraction of the cost vs new.
Go for Gallery and I'm sure they have a 0% interest payment plan for xx months.
Better to go for quality now instead of paying for another couch in a couple years!

We have bought several couches and recliners from here over the years. Comfy and relatively inexpensive.
I have a loveseat, chair and ottoman. Very comfy, yes inexpensive, compared with higher-end stores. I know they won't last forever but I didn't pay a forever price so I am OK with it. Who knows what will even happen tomorrow.
Go to the smaller, warehouse furniture stores near Gallery on 45 N. Offer 30-50% less than the listed price and go from there.

Houston furniture bank you might have to go a few times to find something but they can have some decent stuff for that budget range.
I have a used sectional. If you give it a good steaming, cleaning, it’ll probably be good as new. It’s in my garage. Free, but can’t deliver. Our home has pets and non-tobacco smokers, of that makes a difference

I have bought furniture from the Dump before. The thing about them is that you can get a pretty good deal, especially if it is the last floor model where you have room to haggle. Be prepared to walk away if you don't see anything you like or if you don't feel like you are getting a good deal. I did a bit of browsing in other stores beforehand to get a general idea of prices. I managed to score a few pretty good pieces of furniture by haggling.
IKEA. Go with your measurements and space in mind
Gallery is expensive. Dump is aptly named. RTG or Ikea might be your best bet if you're looking for something affordable.
Gallery is made in the USA and most of the furniture is higher quality. They will also stand behind their furniture if something goes wrong.
