Horizontal lines P55-F1
This starts to happen after awhile, I’ll get these horizontal lines that flash across the screen. I do a soft power reset and they go away for awhile, but they just keep reoccurring.
This pretty much has been happening since I got the TV. I have high quality 4K cables and it also happens on my Xbox as well. I’ve had the TV since August 2018.
I have the 2 year Best Buy extended warranty and before I pull the trigger and go that route, is this something that I can fix? Has someone else had this issue and resolved it? If so, please let me know. Otherwise let me know if I should just return the TV for something else or for a newer model.

Vizio had (or still has?) an issue with white lines appearing on a few different models. They denied any knowledge of it if you'd contact support, all four people I talked to lied about it (this sub and their own forums were full of reports).
I went through 3 units (thanks Costco!) with the same issue then bought a Sony. I miss the amazing local dimming, but have had zero problems.
I don't know how outdated my information is, but it's accurate as far as what I went through. I hope this helped and good luck!
