Battery

I had a dream last night

I wandered in a warehouse

I don’t know why there

But there I was, still

I walked around

With a stick of gum,

With its tin in my hands,

I gripped its metal

​

I touched its lightning

And I was its battery

​

I danced around

A steely warehouse

​

With green foil in

My hands

​

And electricity in

My blood

​

But I short-circuited

Malfunctioned

​
