Arcane courier got nerfed and it's kinda bad with the clue perk now.

It was a buff, though? Before if you got a clue while skilling, it would go to your bank and then you wouldn’t be able to get another, but now you can get multiple in your inventory. Unless I missed something else that happened

i've read from a couple people that this means that clue nests (and possibly geodes and bottles?) will drop on the ground now instead of auto-deposit, so if you're afking like the autobank is supposed to let you do, you lose clues. i can't confirm this myself though, so grain of salt and all that. i haven't gotten a clue bottle since the update, and i've been afk fishing for 12 hours on sharks, if that means anything about this.

It's a buff in the sense of it's more efficient but if you take Arcane Courier, you probably don't care about efficiency and it nerfs the primary purpose of Arcane Courier, afking as much as possible.

I suppose that’s true if you’re getting so many clues and afking so hard that they fill up your inventory... but it seems like the benefit of not losing out on all the clues you’re supposed to be getting from the relic would outweigh that
Edit: I was just thinking about this for some reason and this is definitely wrong, bc clues wouldn't fill up your inventory, since I'm pretty sure you can still only get one bottle/nest in your inventory. So if you just have one in your invent and then don't open it, you won't get more clues. It doesn't affect afking at all. I can conceive of no way in which this change made arcane courier worse than losing out on 1 clue per afk-session, maximum.

It's definitely a buff IMO. You can't have multiples anyway, so all it means is that you don't have to walk to the bank every time you want to do the clue.

You can have multiple clues by juggling them.
