With 19 failing, what do I need to do to legally obtain medical cannabis?

I have a documented history of depression and anxiety that goes all the way back to when I was a young kid so I wouldn't have to lie about having an ailment. I remember reading in a news article a couple weeks ago that there are medical centers that specialize in prescribing cannabis, where would I find one of those? I live in San Diego if that helps.

I have tried googling it but I keep seeing conflicting/old information and thought maybe some fellow Ents would have experience with the system.
