Looping with tempo sync?

Hi WATMM,

I'm interested in Loop pedals. I have the gigadelay which is a great delay pedal, and has looping, but it can be difficult to get a loop that is "locked" into a particular tempo. I mean that it's easy to set a loop, but it's set on my personal foot timing and will most likely float away from sync if I'm playing with something else that is tied to a 'click'.

I beleive that some of the Boss loopstation pedals have some kind of quantization or tempo based features, but all the youtube reviews or demos that I can find ignore, or don't cover those features.

Anyone here use an RC-2 or an RC20 with a tempo sync or lock or whatever?

Any other advice on keeping in sync with drum machines etc? I'd like to avoid using a laptop.
