Any modern Sword and Planet stories?

I'm a big fan of the sword and planet genre. The most obvious examples of this genre are the John Carter/Barsoom series from Edgar Rice Burroughs and the Sword of Rhiannon books from Leigh Brackett. For the most part, it seems this genre peaked in the early half of the twentieth century and hasn't had any new stories since the 1960's. Or maybe it just doesn't get the publicity of the more popular branches of scifi and I'm not following the right news to know the new books that fit into this category.

Are there new books still coming out that fit into the sword and planet genre? I'd love to read one that has more modern sensibilities (even though I'm concerned modern sensibilities might kill the crazy wonder that makes these so enjoyable).
