I want to start campaigns in illinois. I am disappointed by the results in california, but it wont pass anywhere unless we keep trying. I want to organize and inform. Where do i start?

I want to start campaigns in illinois, specfically the chicagoland area. I am deeply disappointed by the results in california, but it wont pass anywhere unless we keep trying. I want to organize and spread true information. Put up posters, ads, anything. If we want it legalized, we need to fight and spread the facts. Where do i start?

The qestions i have: -How do i go about starting up a group like this? I can find tons of supporters and helpers, but how can we make it official? -Id like to put up posters, even ads and billboards if enough support and help could come. What are some good places to look into on how this is done? -how can we illinois ents get a proposition on the next illinois ballot, or any states ballot for that matter?

I dont want someone to say just donate to norml. People need to see that regular citizens want change, not just a pot organization (i love norml, no disrespect against them). I want to feel like im getting something done, not just yelling to those who already know.
