Has anybody else noticed that the media is characterizing Republican gains in the House as a "second chance" for the party?
I've heard this on ABC, NBC, and NPR at least. WTF? The Bush era was their "first chance"? Has our national amnesia become so bad that only the last ten years even exists in the popular consciousness? I find this nearly as disheartening as the election results themselves.
