reddit admins - I'm a gold subscriber, I don't use adblock, and I haven't opted out of seeing adverts. Why the complete lack of adverts?

OK. This may sound odd, but I don't mind discreet advertising on the sites that I frequent - people have bills to pay yo. If I see an interesting ad I'll click it, and I want my ad dollars to go to sites I like (like reddit). At the minute, when I am logged in I never see any adverts - not a one. I get pics of cute kittens and all that but nothing else.

If gold subscribers have chosen not to disabled sponsored links, and adverts why not show them. Let me give you some dimes for my clicks rather than some inferior site.
