What should I brew this weekend so that I can make it through a cold lonely winter.

I am working with extract kits right now. I am looking for something that will warm my toes in December. I was leaning towards a spiced porter or brown ale that I spice up myself but in all honesty I come to you ready for suggestions. So help me decide what to brew to help me get through a cold winter.
