Mass texting service
Hey all,
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any apps that support mass texting that I can use with a business cell phone of mine? I have android.
I'm looking to send mass text messages from the cell phone using it's registered number. I have a website platform that I can mass text from but I have to buy a phone number to use from them. Plus having my actual biz phone # associated with the texts might be better than a random number anyway.
Let me know if you have an answer to my question or if I'm looking/doing something I could do better.

How many texts are you talking? We use Twilio and the numbers you buy are only like a dollar a month. But importantly, there is a limit on the number of texts you can send per number per day. It’s about 300 texts per number per day. I.e. if you want to hit 900 people at once you need to send through 3 numbers.
If it’s a list smaller than 300 then maybe doing it through your phone is viable somehow, but services like Twilio are designed for this, and I’d lean towards using that instead of there’s any significant volume.
Several thousand texts in one day 1-2x month.
Yeah then you need to have a whole bunch of numbers. You can’t sent it all from just one.
