DAE get failed by a Cali. friend who just didn't even vote?

My best friend has been living out in Cali. for some years now but he's been back here (PA) visiting a couple of months. He wanted to go back for a week to look at apartments and his flight was on Monday. I of course asked him if he'd vote yes for me once he arrived in Cali. since I don't have that kind of power, and this cause is pretty fucking important. His response?

"There's no way that's not gonna pass, so it doesn't matter if I vote or not."

Needless to say I'm a little disappointed in him. We used to toke up all the time in high school and I understand that he's made a conscience decision to not smoke himself (for the time being), but I would have at least liked his support. I feel like I should be mad at him, but I just can't. Toke one up for me ents, I got a feeling this is gonna be a long day.
