The value of a split congress

I kind of like the idea that congress is split. "The government that governs least governs best." Nothing too left or too right is going to make it anywhere and hopefully, fingers crossed, actual important issues will be addressed and solved.

It kind of makes any legislation going through necessarily bi-partisan and maybe shows that Americans aren't mindless radicals one way or the other. Let us hope...
