I'm from Wisconsin, and I'm equally disappointed but I think some people missed the boat.
So yesterday was the midterm elections where Russ Feingold lost his senate seat to Ron Johnson. It is a very disappointed blow but I don't think all of the rage posts are not really that fair.
Let's think about what just happened this past weekend? I don't need to remind reddit that there was some sort of rally to remain decent human beings even when faced with opposition and especially when you are beaten by the opposition. Yes it does stink that Feingold lost. Yes it does mean that republicans hold one more seat in the senate. But neither of those facts give anyone a reason to rage.

You are posting on reddit, with titles like FUCK YOU WISCONSIN!!, and Feingold was the ONLY senator to give a shit about constitutional freedoms WTF WISCONSIN!, you'd think that we were a tea party website. No we(reddit) is almost unanimously against tea party and their candidates, so you are essentially raging against people who clearly did not vote for Ron Johnson.

This rally that just happened was about being a decent person, and not screaming the loudest when you lose. If the left just turns the tables and now screams louder than the right who won a few seats in the house and the senate, you are no better than the people you rage against. Take a step back and do a meta-analysis of the situation and you will understand what I'm talking about.
Do not fall into the trap of being angry with how the results turned out. Someone somewhere voted for Ron Johnson, and then a hundred thousand more did, and he won. Understand that's how politics in America works. If you don't like it, you only have 2 years to live with it. Show your support for Feingold through letters and emails and whatever else. Encourage him to run in 2012 and he'll have another chance to regain a seat that he probably shouldn't have lost. So be a group of adults, and live with it.
