Need to leave the midwest for Christmas. Any suggestions in the cont. USA?

The wife and I are going to meet up with her parents (they live in the NW, we live in the midwest) for Christmas. Everyone says they want to go somewhere relatively warm.

Any suggestions in the lower 48?

Suggestions so far have been: -Napa -Scottsdale -San Diego -Disney World

Any suggestions?

We rented a beach house in Newport, OR a few months ago, and that was great. we're all pretty laid back - if it has a hot tub and beer/wine, we're happy.
