Unsure on leaving a relationship to venture out into the dating world.

I love my boyfriend a lot. More than I've ever loved anyone before, as cheesey as it sounds. But, I kind of wish we had met later on in life. We have a very stable, loving relationship. I feel like we really do need each other.

I just started my first year at a new university. I'm a transfer and so is he, we both left from the same school. He lives off campus and I live in the dorms, so most nights I stay at his apartment. We see each other probably every day.

However, I feel like by being committed to him, I'm "missing out" on part of college life. I've never been able to date around before, because my home town was pretty much a giant shit hole. It's crazy having options now; options that are interested in me. But I feel like I have such a great relationship with my boyfriend, and I don't want to ruin that. I feel like even if I do date around, I won't find anyone as good as he is. Yet at the same time, it's still a temptation.

tl;dr: Torn between staying in a steady relationship and dating around.
