I'm a moderate liberal who has to spend the week with my very conservative father. Help.

Trying not to make a wall of text here. To set this up, my father and I live in two different states. I'm visiting for the week.

To make things worse the mid term elections were yesterday. He keeps telling me that that Obama and the Democrats have no interest in the country and its people and they only want power. He insists that Obama has done no good for the country and his healthcare reform is useless. He says the liberals 'spend, spend, spend'. He looks up to Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity.

I've mostly just been nodding and saying 'Yea'. Should I tell him I disagree with him and give him some facts? I love my Dad and he is a good person, it just drives me crazy to hear him blame liberals for all of our problems when in my opinion it is Bush conservatives the last 8 years.

EDIT: he just said that the constitution should be amended so freedom of speech can't be used to intimidate others...
