God is a Super Villain
Many people question why a loving God would allow terrible things to happen. The usual Christian defense that "God gave us all free will" only covers tragedies stemming from human action. So if you ask a Christian why innocent children and babies starve to death, die from disease, or are killed in natural disasters, their response will likely be that it is all a part of God's plan. In that, lies the clincher. Shouldn't morality decreed by a divine being be absolute? Why is God allowed to do/let terrible things happen to innocent people? It's for his MASTER PLAN. Every super villain has a master plan. The master plan allows them to justify terrible deeds for the benefit of their end goal. The end goal is often good in itself, so the evil deeds seem justified. In my Catholic high school morality class we were taught that the ends never justify the means. I guess God gets a free pass from his own morality though. He IS a super villain, after all.
