Shhhh, apps. Keep it down. :(

Androiddevs, is it possible to start implementing a feature that I LOVE on Angry Birds? When I silence my phone (Moto Droid base), this app defaults to mute when I launch it. It drives me nuts that apps ignore the silence feature. I don't know how many times I've accidentally launched an app that blasted me with noise when I specifically turned the sound off.

I appreciate all of you developers, btw. You guys are awesome!
