Reddit, appreciate your dad.
I don't want attention or to be on the front page. My father passed away unexpectedly last night and for the most part, I just want to say that if you can - call your dad/mom/SO/whoever and tell them you love them, spend more time with them if you can, do whatever you can. The last thing I told my dad was that I loved him and he responded likewise - and that is something I will take pride in forever. Equally, being his son was a blessing. We just never truly actualize our care until something happens - but honestly, it's so important to take time out of every single day to just acknowledge and reflect. For those of you who have already experienced this, I know I'm sorry doesn't say much, but really, I know how you feel.
