Hey Reddit, what's your worst bug/insect story?

I absolutely hate bugs but I was inspired to post this after finding out my friend in the Philippines was bitten in the eye by a cockroach. EW.

Both of my stories coincidentally happened in the shower. Once I was taking a shower, watching a wasp flying around outside the window....when I realized it was INSIDE the shower.

And the second time I was already 5 minutes into my shower when I turned around, face-to-face with a ginormous two-inch long carpenter ant. My dad told me they don't exist, but when I told him I was absolutely sure of it, he told me I shouldn't have washed it down the drain because I discovered a new species.
