Help us with a leaky basement wall.

This is my parents home. Its over 100 years old with a stone and concrete foundation. The basement has always been leaky, but after a huge rainstorm a few months back, the leaks washed about 8 inches of mud onto the floor. I just spent a week hauling it all out.

Now were left with this wall that leaks like a sieve in heavy rain. I wanna try to take care of this before we get another storm. The sump pump works properly and the sump's drain is clear. The wall itself is rather crumbly and nothing will adhere to it.

Im open to any suggestions short of calling a basement waterproofing company to come in - Dad simply cant afford it right now.
