CAE show me how to have excel recognise the alphabet and continue a pattern?

Problem - Need to type A B C D E F G .... to like BC BD BE in the same column but each having its own cell. Whenever I drag the corner, excel copies A B C A B C A B C, and it makes me want to make a rage post in the F7U12. Can anyone show my clearly newb ass how to do this?
