Computer to Receiver question.

I have my desktop connected to my surround sound reciever via HDMI cable. Then that goes into my tv via HDMI cable.

When I configure the sound for my HDMI output it only allows for stereo, anyone know how I can get my Dolby Digital surround sound working?
