Is this possible? Set a reminder to plug in USB device when within range of a certain SSID?

Basically, I move about my Macbook Pro a lot. Sometimes when I am home I forget to plug in my USB hub.

When I do this backups do not happen and EyeTV does not record.

Is there a way where you can have a pop-up or such to remind you to check your USB devices when (and only when) in range of your home wifi?
