Can someone please tell me how this exam question makes any sense (related to psychology)?

So, the question was this:

Yielding is equal to ...............

And I forget most the choices but two of them were persuasion or behavior.

I put behavior, but the professor said its persuasion.

When I raised my hand, I stated persuasion causes yielding, so yielding is a behavior.

I really can't understand how yielding is equal to persuasion. He tried to justify it and I let it go. But now I'm kind of annoyed, because this really makes no sense to me and don't think I should be marked off for it.

Can someone tell me if the professor is actually right with this (is there actually any circumstance that statement makes sense)?

Or if the professor is wrong, can someone tell me how I can get him to see that this statement is wrong?

PS: This is a psychology class to give perspective on the context of the test.
