Can't choose which card to display when crossfired.

I have two ATI 4850s which are driving three monitors. Before and after gaming I switch in and out of crossfire mode. However, sometimes I only see crossfire in CCC when I choose the second card. This is really annoying because the second card only drives the right monitor and I would obviously prefer to play on the center.
