What's the most extreme thing you've done to get away from a relationship?

I applied for and got into an international program to spend my senior year of my bachelors taking 9 grueling classes per semester and writing/defending a thesis. All in all I moved 6 times zones away(florida-budapest) and threw myself into two semesters of hell to get away from a crazy.
