Something I really wanted to gift and share the love with

I know it says in the rules no food, but I really wouldn't consider my homemade jerky food. I think I can confidently say (and many of my friends would concur) that my jerky would be offended by simply calling it food. It is a substance made for the gods! I really, really want to share it with my secret santa, I give it to many friends for christmas and they go nuts for it. Should I bend the rules?

(edit) And yes, I completely understand why the rule is there, but this really is THAT good!!!!
