Not a great way to start the day

So I got up this morning and went to get my camera out of my bag. I took it out and heard something rattling. I took the lens cap off and saw this. Fuck. And I don't have the money to replace it either.

I'm just glad that wasn't the front element. I think I would have cried if it was. What's the worst thing that's happened to your gear?
