Russ Feingold for President 2012?

To say that Obama has been disappointing from a progressive standpoint would be an understatement. He's been a disaster. Who would vote for Feingold if he ran on an independent platform in 2012? Yeah, there's the danger of a split vote on the left, allowing the GOP into the White House, but I would gladly take that risk to make my vote count as an endorsement of a reasonable, intelligent, progressive candidate as opposed to the center-right, war-mongering, civil liberty trampling mess the Democratic party has become.
