How many Ballots are left to be counted?

99.2% ( 24,654 of 24,845 ) precincts partially or fully reporting as of November 3, 2010, 10:34 a.m.

This text is very misleading. It leaves you to assume how many ballots have ACTUALLY been counted and are left to be counted.

So, does anyone know?

Because the way this is worded, there could be hundreds of thousands of ballots left to count. I know ALLOT of people who voted for 19 by mail.

I saw in the Mercury News that Santa Clara still has 100,000 vote-by-mail votes to count yet the page for Santa Clara say's they are 100% Partially or Fully reported. Do you see where I am going with this?
