How to decide whether to reset a leaderboard after fixing a bug that affects scores?

Do you normally reset a game leaderboard after fixing any bug that might affect scores? Or does it depend on how rare the bug is, how much impact the bug has on scores, and/or on how many people are already on the leaderboard?
