Sk1nSw1tch: Eater of Skins, Destroyer of .jar files

So I was trying to futz around with some new skins using Sk1nSw1tch and such.

I wasn't rather fond of an outdated texture pack that hasnt updated for the Halloween update.

Set to default skin. Everything good. Run Minecraft.

"Error: Can't connect to Minecraft.net

You need to play Online so you can play offline" (Internet was down for the morning, so it explains that error)

Wat.

So I try to troubleshoot things, wonder what Sk1nSw1tch could have done to my files when I look around the .bin directory of Minecraft.

Minecraft.jar is gone. Nothing is there, so what the fuck? Sk1nSw1tch ate it!

It wasnt long before our internet was back on and the Launcher redownloaded the jar files, but at least my save files weren't fucked.

So has anyone had this problem with Sk1nSw1tch or am I the only one who had this?

Moral of the Story: Be careful with third party programs as they might eat an important file.

TL;DR Sk1nSwitch (program designed to switch texture packs for Minecraft) was hungry and ate the Minecraft.jar file.
