So a co-worker is having a holiday party...

I work in a department of wine connoisseurs. Most are relatively wealthy and one is hosting a holiday party at her house in early Dec.

I want to introduce them to good beer - I don't know of any that really know what good beer is. I figure I could bring by a sample of the best I can readily find of each beer style to hopefully give people a taste of what they're missing!

Of course, this could be a mistake - perhaps a top rated beer in a specific style is not necessarily the best introduction to the style. Thoughts on that?

Right now I'm thinking I can pick up:

Imperial Stout - The Abyss

DIPA - PtE

IPA - Sculpin

Quad - Rochefort 10

Tripel - La Fin Du Monde

Strong Belgian Pale - Don de Dieu

Hefe - Weihenstephaner

Doppelbock - Ayinger Celebrator

Sours - Supplication, Duchesse

Saison/Farmhouse - (undecided)

Lambic - Lindemans Framboise

Thoughts? Anything you would do differently? Styles not to include or to add to this list?

Thanks!
