Feingold 2012?

On democracy now today Moore went through his thought process on 2012. The divided republicans will have a very high energy, very passionate primary where tea party pols like (like Palin and Paul) will be up against the old guard like Huckabee. If they lose, they could be so pissed they run their own candidate. If this happens, Obama has a clear path to victory.

However, this means if someone can cut into Obama's base, they would only need a plurality to win the Presidency. A four way race like this doesn't happen often, but it has. When Lincoln was elected it was in a four-way (hahahahaha) that ended with a cabinet of rivals.

Because Obama has failed so dismally at motivating a young, liberal base I think it is well worth considering a fourth track.
