IWTL how to study productively for exams that don't overly rise my interest and that consist of a great deal of foreign words
so, I'm studying Ecology, which I am interested in, a lot because of the places I will be able to work at. now, I have to learn about Zoology, more specifically, about jellyfish, sponges and a quadrizillion worms. every page is presenting me with latin words which did not prove to be very memorable because I have no idea what the word means except what it points at. to say it differently: I have no idea how to build meaningful bridges.
How do I productively memorize these things?!
letting go of my disinterest is the first step, I'm getting over it. there's a whole lot of interesting stuff to come after this. I use the pomodoro technique already, but it's not helping me to memorize.
