Since 19 didn't pass, I'm considering a card and have a quick question

I was really really hoping 19 would pass, but alas. So now I'm seriously considering getting a card again, but I'm worried about job security. I've heard that I can still get fired and/or imprisoned if I have ANY marijuana in my system, even with a card because it's a "recommendation" not a "prescription." Is that true? I would love to not have to deal with my migraines, panic attacks, sleep issues, anxiety, etc... but I really don't want to risk my job in this economy. Maybe I'll just have to start saving up to move to Colorado haha. Thanks
