I'm losing my shit over what's happening in this world. I need to act. What are Redditors doing to stay sane and contribute?

People need to be cured of their obsession with acquiring more. They need to accept that they will die. They need to be comfortable with risk. They need to see that comfort comes from community and contributing.

I'm a democratic socialist, atheist, ex-Christian youth leader, video game writer and I'm losing my mind over all this. I'm starting to act now, and I'd love to hear what you guys do to contribute and keep your heads from exploding.

I'm putting my energy into stand up comedy and volunteering with Planned Parenthood. Since babies are ruining the country.

EDIT: I get the focus less on "what others need" to be "happier". I've always had a "save the world" drive, and it's hard to shake.
