OKC Question: "Does smoking disgust you?"

I'm a smoker. So one of the first things I look for in a profile is the answer to "Does smoking disgust you?". If she answers "Yes", I generally don't bother messaging her. Because why would I want to bother with someone who I disgust?

But recently it seems that girls that have been interested in me and messaging me are answering "Yes" to that even though it says I'm a smoker in my details. I'm wondering now if I may have interpreted this question differently than them.

How did you interpret this question when it came up for you?

A. Does smoking a cigarette yourself with your mouth and lungs disgust you?

B. Does the practice of smoking by others/society disgust you?

C. Other (Explain.)

I interpreted it as B.
