I'm tired of people saying Reddit "isn't real life." I am talking to real people about real things in a way that I could never do in real life.

True, I probably shouldn't spend ALL day on Reddit, but we have an amazing community that is a true melting pot of ideas, races, and people. Any user can express themselves completely truly and not have to fear a backlash from their peers. I think Reddit and the Internet are paving the way for a future where information is carried quickly and effectively throughout the world.

Reddit will be the downfall of modern media - we are one of the largest of many internet 'forum sites' and we truly have no limit on the news we can report. If the GOP does something horrendous, you'll damn well know about it on Reddit. I think in a day and age as tumultuous as our own, Reddit may well be the incarnation of Christ.
