Day hiking spots?

I am going to go day hiking/picnic on Sunday or Saturday. I am unfamilir with some good hiking spots. I would like some place

• Somewhat close to Denver (<1hour drive)
• Lots of forest.. Or other foliage
• Lacking of people. When I go to nature I don't like running into people.

Anyone have suggestions?
