Thy will be done
Without Judas' act of betrayal we would not have the hope of salvation. With his history of hardening hearts, we know that God has a way of getting people to do what he wants. I don't know if God hardened Judas' heart or softened it. But is is clear that, through Judas, God's will was done.
6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (1 Corinthians 2)
God destined the crucifixion. So God also destined Judas' act of betrayal.
I just want to thank God for allowing or enabling Judas to betray Jesus. Thank you, God.
