Reddit - I was stopped at a stop light and a guy in a big truck ran right into me...

...I lawyered up, hit the gym which is at the drs office, 3 times a week. Problem? Guy who hit me refuses to take calls from his insurance which means so far they have not accepted liability. The longer he doesnt contact them, the longer I pay out of pocket for rental car because my car is sitting at the shop not being touched. I have the dudes name, address, phone number, policy number and his social (maybe).

I was wondering if we could all pull something together and maybe send him letters/postcards/whatnot to at least get the message across that he needs to do the right thing and take ownership. I confronted him at the scene and he said he was looking down at his drink. Not once did he apologize and he refuses to take my calls as well. So what does everyone think?
