CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT: Can every person who has been wrongfully arrested for possession ONLY collectively sue the government for emotional damages?
I don't know anything about the law, but I feel like there has GOT to be some way to challenge this clear injustice and re-define history. But it clearly has to be big, so we have to be 100% solid on the legality of challenging this INJUST LAW.
Can we get some legal advisors in on this? Who would be the best plaintiff? (We should ideally have a person that people would automatically support, like the child in Brown v Board of E). Who would we sue for wrongdoing?
Can we PLEASE all work together to re-frame this issue as a CIVIL RIGHTS issue, not as a "let's just all have fun, man" issue?? Why is it bad to discriminate against black people, but not bad to discriminate against pot smokers?
I don't care if we're the minority, we DON'T deserve to go to jail. We DON'T deserve to be fined. We are good people who do our best to find our place in this world be happy, just like everyone else.
WE DO NOT DESERVE TO BE TREATED THIS WAY.
