Publicly funded catholic schools

I go to a publicly funded (yes tax-payer money) catholic high school I am an atheist and go there because its the school closest to my house and all my friends went there (I also went to a catholic elementary school) I know that might not be the best justification...

Anyways with that out of the way I'd like to offer some insight into what goes on inside... I have not heard a word about evolution and Im in grade 10, meaning any science course after grd 10 are optional however religion is not, meaning we have to take it every year and in grades 9-10 its bullshit propaganda and it seems they think were so naive we'll just consume it. They say its about reaching a mature understanding about God, Jesus and faith when really they only present one side of things so I dont see how thats mature at all.

These and many other things are terrible in their own right but making it so that tax-payers from every religion and secularists have to pay for it, not to mention the dumb shit they spend the money on for example -

1. small chapel built within school, estimated cost - 30-40,000 yep 3 zeros and the chapel is literally used 2-4 times a year the mass they have takes place in the gym

2.Religion text books full of biased and wrong information

3.Lazy teachers who dont even teach the bullshit well etc

The reason im ranting like this is because barely anybody seems to know about this (especially from an inside perspective) I could only find 2 or 3 articles about it please vote this up to create awareness If you want to know more (I advise you to) do a quick google search
Its time to END making it look like this is OK by funding these catholic schools it makes it look like the catholic religion is more important then any other religion and they deserve more money to preach their bullshit
