I just watched Superman (1978) for the first time in ages, and remembered a massive childhood crush.
So I was looking though my movie collection for something to watch, saw Superman Returns, but discounted it as I've seen it a few times, when it occurred to me that I hadn't seen the original for donkey's years.
So, really excited I put it on, awesome credits at the beginning, get goosebumps from the music, I settled down.
An hour into the movie my heart stops and my loins stir...
Wow! I totally forgot that I had a MASSIVE crush on her when I was a kid, probably my first. All these crazy childhood sexual feelings hit me when she appeared on screen.
Then later the red dress, and later on the white dress in the swimming pool. I swear my heart skipped a beat.
Did anyone else have a thing for her when you didn't know what 'a thing' was?
