24" Monitor Showdown!

Not 100% certain if monitors belong in /buildapc but anyway - I'm looking at picking up a new 24" monitor, 1080P, preferably with HDMI.

I've got it boiled down to Asus VW246H, BenQ E2420HD, and the LG W2442P.

Can anyone give any reasons why one is better/worse than the others? they all seem to be similarly specced, no idea which brands are generally accepted as better than the others, and all the reviews i can find (which frankly are few and far between) really have nothing glaringly bad or really exceptionally good to say of any of them.

How does one decide between similar monitors?
