Best headphones for producing music that wont rape my wallet?

I'm looking for a pair of headphones worthy of hearing every sound and frequency while I'm producing but won't break my wallet. I obviously expect the prices to be high, but not ridiculous. Also the style I prefer to be a little on the old school side, nothing too new age, although I don't mind any suggestion that has a new age style to it, will still check it out. Thanks!

EDIT: I guess I should have said the need to be noise canceling and not leak noise.
